Travelling to the Maldives
British Airways operate a service 3 times a week to Male from Gatwick, the flight time is approximately 9 hours.
Oman Air operates a service via Muscat, with onward connections, 3 times a week.

Maldives has two distinct seasons; dry season (northeast monsoon) and wet season (southwest monsoon), with the former extending from January to March and the latter from mid-May to November.
Rufiyaa and Laari (1 Rufiyaa – 100 Laari) and bank notes come in denominations of 5,10,20,50 100 and 500.
The Island Resorts are approximately 30 minutes from Male Airport. Private transfers are offered by speed boat or sea plane.
Maldives is 5 hours ahead of GMT.
Please ensure your passport has at least 6 months validity from the date of arrival.
No visa is required for visitors staying up to 30 days in the Maldives
